Total No. of Vacancies : 93 (OC 45, SC 07, ST 01 Backlog, OBC 20, Ex.Ser. 08, PH1 01, PH2 01 ).
Name of Post :
1. Postal Assistant : 45 posts
2. Sorting Assistant : 34 posts
3. Postal Assistant (saving Bank Control Organization) : 14 posts
Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs. 2400 + admissible allowance.
Eligibility Criteria :
Age Limit : Age Required Between 18 to 27 years as on 01/10/2012.
Educational Qualification : Candidate must possess 10+2 Standard or 12th Class pass with at least 60 % marks and above from any recognized University with English as a compulsory subject.
Application Fee : General And OBC Category Candidates need to Pay Rs. 200/- and No Fee Required For SC/ST/PH Category Candidates .
Selection Procedure : Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of Aptitude Test, Typing Test/Computer Test.
How to Apply : Eligible Candidates may apply through prescribed application format available at all Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles. Dully filled application form along with Copies of relevant certificates and original receipt of ACG-67/UCR issued by the identified Post Office of this Circle towards payment of Examination fee have to be sent to “Direct Recruitment Cell, New Delhi HO, New Delhi-110001″ through SPEED POST/REGISTERED POST OF INDIA POST only.
